Audition Notice for "Murderers"

Naked Stage is pleased to offer "Murderers" by Jeffrey Hatcher and directed by Bridget Browning as the next show of our season.

Synopsis:
Three comic monologues about revenge, blackmail, sex, money, jealousy, justice and murder. Performed separately, the tales depict desperate passions, old wounds and cold calculations that intersect in the sundrenched world of The Riddle Key Luxury Retirement Village in Florida. Each story is a cat-and-mouse mystery featuring culprits who tell how they decided to commit the perfect crime and what tripped them up along the way.

Roles include the following:
GERALD HALVERSON, a dapper man in his late 30s, early 40s
LUCY STICKLER, a pert, adorable housewife in her 70s
MINKA LUPINO, a very pleasant woman in her 40s

Auditions (as well as rehearsals and performances) takes place at Newton Cultural Centre, 13520-72 Ave. Surrey on March 15th from 11:00 - 4:00 pm.

Rehearsals run weekly on Tuesday evenings  from March 18th - April 22 6:30 - 9:15 pm., with a tech rehearsal on Thursday April 24th from 5:30 - 9:30pm. 
Performances run April 25 and 26 at 7:30 pm and April 27 at 2:00 pm.
Actors who are cast must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances and must become a member of Naked Stage Society (f not already a member). Due to the nature of this production the Director will determine when actors will be needed. This will be discussed at the first rehearsal (read through).
